Post-18 Destinations
Girls leaving Westfield Sixth Form are consistently successful in securing competitive places on a broad range of courses and institutions, both across the UK and internationally. Many progress to university, to follow their individual passions, ranging from Engineering, Architecture and Biomedical Sciences to Fashion and Performing Arts.
Others choose alternative routes, securing sought-after apprenticeships and internships with organisations such as the NHS, Sanderson-Young, Sage or Turner and Townsend.
Whichever route they choose, Westfield Sixth Formers are ready to succeed.
From the moment students join the Sixth Form, they receive tailored guidance and support. Our dedicated team provides comprehensive advice throughout the UCAS process and encourages students to develop new skills, experiences and confidence to help them stand out to universities and future employers. As you will have gathered while exploring our website, Westfield is committed to developing the whole individual; there is no one-size-fits-all approach. What often goes unspoken is the depth of personal support we offer — support that enables students to pursue their passions and fulfil their ambitions.
One of last year’s leavers, Millie, achieved outstanding A Level results (A*, A, A) and secured a place at the University of Edinburgh to study Pharmacology. Millie joined Westfield in Year 4 and has grown up as part of our community. She will be taking a gap year in the USA working on a horse ranch before beginning her studies.
