Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we believe the best way to discover what makes Westfield special is to see it for yourself.
We welcome girls at all stages of their educational journey and boys into Junior House. Whether you're considering a move now or planning ahead, we'd be delighted to show you around.
Throughout the year, we host several Open Events, but we are equally happy to arrange a personal visit during a normal school day. This allows you to meet our staff and pupils, experience lessons in action and gain a real sense of life at Westfield.
If you have any questions or require support, please get in touch with Mrs Jane Jokelson, Admissions Officer, at westfield@westfield.newcastle.sch.uk or on 0191 255 3980.

Our main entry points are:
- Pre-School
- Reception
- Year 5
There is no formal assessment for Junior House applicants. Instead, your child will be invited to spend a taster day with their year group, taking part in lessons and activities while getting to know their future classmates and teachers.
Our main entry points are:
- Year 7
- Year 9
- Sixth Form
We also welcome applications for in-year entry, subject to availability.
Whether your daughter is preparing for GCSE options, midway through her GCSE studies or considering her A Level choices, our experienced staff will provide support throughout the admissions process and help her make a successful transition.
