Old Girls' Reunion

Saturday 18th September 2021 from 5-7pm

Reception with canapes. Cash bar available

At last, I am delighted to be able to email you with confirmation that our long awaited school reunion will go ahead on Saturday 18 September!!

To let us know that you will be joining us, please click on the link at the bottom of the invitation (Westfield Reunion) and enter the information requested; it is as simple as that.  It will be lovely to be able to welcome you back to Westfield and I hope that you will spread the word amongst your fellow classmates.  If you know of anyone who has not received this email, please pass on our  contact details and ask them to get in touch with Jane.

As an update since my last message, Westfield has continued to thrive despite the national situation.

Pupil numbers in Senior House are looking very healthy for next year as parents recognize the quality and value of the lockdown learning we provided. Our A-Level and GCSE results were excellent, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the girls and their teachers. Comments from our Upper 5 girls, such as  “I have worked really hard but my teachers have always gone that extra mile for me, especially during lockdown; they always made sure I was learning and engaged.  My teachers here have always inspired me and I can’t wait to get back to school” and “My results are so much better than they could have been.   It has been a strange few months but as a class we have all been in it together.   It has been a group effort; no one wanted anyone to fail and we all looked out for each other”  show how the Westfield spirit has burned even brighter in recent times. I hope you will read more on our website.

We are looking to returning in September with very few restrictions and bringing back all the usual activities and opportunities that have been on pause over the last 18 months.

I look forward to meeting you on 18th September.

Mr Neil Walker
