A Level Results 2025

This year’s Upper Sixth at Westfield have been so impressive through their time with us. From losing most of their Key Stage 3 teaching and learning through Covid to take on GCSEs and being the first year group to complete a full GCSE course again they are now showing the breadth of their interests.

We have girls who are already in work starting their apprenticeships, girls going to study Architecture, Pharmacology, Business Management and Aeronautical Engineering and heading off to Edinburgh or Exeter and many points in between. Each girl is an individual and encouraged and supported to follow her own path to be what she wants to be.

Our teachers are all exceptional and girls have achieved A* (or equivalent) in subjects as varied as Maths, Food, Psychology, Business, PE and IT. We are very proud of our pupils and wish them all the very best on the next steps of their journey

Millie has been at Westfield since Year 4 and is now heading to Edinburgh to study Pharmacology.

“I achieved AAA* in Biology, Chemistry, and PE, and I am absolutely in shock. Over the past two years, I’ve faced significant health challenges and completed much of my study while in hospital. Without the help and support of my teachers, I truly don’t think I could have accomplished this.

Completing my A Levels has been a transformative experience. I knew I had to do it for myself, regardless of my illness, and my teachers kept in touch and motivated me every step of the way. Many of them have known me since I was nine, and even my mum says that being at Westfield has been a family affair.”

Zoe sets her sights on a Psychology Degree at Northumbria University

After two successful years at Westfield, Zoe, who moved to Newcastle from Italy, is preparing to embark on the next stage of her academic journey at Northumbria University, where she will study Psychology.

Reflecting on her time at Westfield, Zoe said:
“Settling in from the moment I arrived from Italy was easier than I expected, although having previously lived in Indonesia, adapting to a new culture and education system was a challenge. I’m so glad I chose Westfield over a larger school—everyone here has been calm, welcoming, and supportive, particularly when I was completing my UCAS application. I’ve made some fantastic friends, and I can’t wait to start my degree.”

Zoe’s experience highlights Westfield’s nurturing environment, where students are supported academically and personally, helping them achieve their ambitions.
