This Christmas, all the girls at Westfield Juniors took part in a production of Captain Cat and The Carol Singers by Jeremy Lloyd. This funny and gentle play tells the story of forty-four mice attending a Christmas carol rehearsal led by Vicar Mole. However, they are horrified to find they are being joined for the evening by Captain Cat, who swears he has given up mousing, but can he be believed?
The evening was a great success and the girls really did themselves proud, particularly those who stepped in at the last moment to cover absent friends who couldn’t be with us due the inevitable winter bugs.
