Delegates attend the Round Square Conference in Kenya
16 April 2012
Four girls from Senior House flew off to Nairobi in the school holidays to attend the annual International Round Square Conference which was based on the theme of 'No existence without co-existence'.
The four delegates have had the opportunity to visit the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the Kenyan Coast to look at a combination of historical sites, trading ports, participate in diving and water sports and of course, visited some of the most famous beaches in Africa! Whilst in Nairobi, the delegates visited our sponsored pupils at Starehe School and witnessed the work completed by our former pupils on the RSIS Kenya project. At the Conference at Brookhouse International School, the delegates took part in Adventure Days and Service Days as well as attending a number of keynote presentations on Governance and Leadership in Africa and worked with delegates from Round Square schools around the world. They all had a wonderful adventure and came back much stronger for their experiences.
