* - An Early Years Development Grant is paid by the Local Education Authority for all three and four year olds attending school full time and pro rata for part time attendance. As our school terms are, in general, slightly shorter than in the maintained sector, the entitlement for our pupils is reduced pro rata. The amount of the grant for each qualifying pupil is calculated each term depending on the number of sessions attended by the child and how long the term lasts, up to a maximum set by the Local Authority. The maximum grant available for a pupil attending more than 5 sessions per week in the Autumn Term 2009 is £594.00, and the Spring Term 2010 is £504.00 The rate for Summer Term 2010 has not yet been set by the LEA.
