Westfield has a huge programme of community service. In Lower Four girls participate in Passport for Life, a forerunner to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

community service A huge amount of money is regularly raised for charities, including the North of England Children's Cancer Run, St Oswald's Hospice, National Blind Children's Society, Action Medical Research, Gibside School and the Children's Foundation, to name but a few.

Sixth Formers assist in our own Nursery and at Newcastle School for Boys and help in the People's Kitchen.

community service Many girls also take part in overseas service projects. Recently girls have taken part in projects inb Botswana, Cape Town, Thailand and Ladakh.
